Product Description

Product Description:

Reverse osmosis systems are a popular choice for purifying water and are generally made up of pre-treatment and RO main units. To meet the users' specific material and water quality requirements, the RO membrane types can be customized.

The RO membrane is a specialized process membrane created through specific techniques using high molecular materials. It selectively allows only water molecules to pass through while rejecting solutes. By pumping the feedwater at high pressure, it develops a pressure gradient on the semi-permeable membrane. When the pressure exceeds the osmotic pressure on the feedwater side, the water molecules permeate through the membrane, purifying the water.

The semi-permeable membrane blocks dissolved and un-dissolved inorganic salts, heavy metal ions, organic substances, bacteria, colloids, and other substances present in the feedwater. These impurities are discharged with the concentrate, resulting in purified water fit for consumption.

Note: Reverse osmosis systems are a beneficial investment for all. Since contaminated water is harmful to health, using RO systems will guarantee clean and safe drinking water for the household or office.

Features:

High efficiency, energy-saving, environmentally friendly, intelligent, and versatile.

Technical Parameters:

High Filtration Precision:

The reverse osmosis membrane has an incredibly small pore size of 0.0001 micrometers. Comparatively, a typical PP cotton filter cartridge executes a pore size of 5 micrometers , while an ultrafiltration membrane has a pore size of 0.01 micrometers. Specifically, bacteria and heavy metal ions have a pore size of 0.001 micrometers. Therefore, reverse osmosis equipment is highly effective in removing impurities, bacteria, and other harmful substances from water.

Large Water Production Capacity:

Reverse osmosis equipment has a remarkable water production capacity that can range from 1 to 100 tons and, in some cases, households may opt for a minimum water production capacity of 7.8 liters per treatment. Depending on specific requirements, the equipment can be tweaked to produce 0.5 tons, 1 ton, 2 tons, 5 tons, 10 tons, 50 tons, 100 tons, and so on.

Intelligent Control:

The equipment features fully automatic control valves that can be set to flow rate or time. It also has a self-cleaning filter media for online cleaning which eliminates the need for manual monitoring. This convenient, fast, and labor-saving mechanism makes it highly efficient and practical.

Long Service Life:

The use of quartz sand, activated carbon, scale inhibitors, fine filtration, and five-stage reverse osmosis filtration dramatically increases the lifespan of the reverse osmosis equipment.

High Water Recovery Rate:

Reverse osmosis equipment can achieve an impressive water recovery rate, skyrocketing up to 75% and above.

Applications:

Uses of Purified and Ultrapure Water in Industries

Purified water and ultrapure water have various industrial applications. These industries include electronics, industrial, pharmaceutical, and food production. The primary purpose of producing purified and ultrapure water is to remove impurities and contaminants that can affect the quality, performance, and safety of the final product.

Textile and Chemical Industries

In the textile and chemical industries, purified water is used in the purification and preparation of process water, chemical circulating water, and the manufacturing of chemical products. This process helps to maintain high-quality standards and enhance the production process.

Food and Beverage Industry

The food and beverage industry also requires purified water for various purposes. This includes the purification and preparation of water for drinking, beverages, beer, liquor, health products, and other food products. The use of purified water in these products guarantees the safety and quality for consumption.

Industrial Production and Power Industry

Purified water is also utilized in the concentration and recovery of useful substances in industrial production. In the power industry, purified water is used in the pretreatment of high-pressure boiler feedwater, boiler feedwater for thermal power boilers, and low-pressure boiler power systems in plants and mines.

Desalination of Brackish Water and Seawater

Desalination helps to remove salt and other impurities from seawater and brackish water. The desalination process makes it possible to have fresh water in areas where fresh water is not readily available. Industries such as islands, ships, offshore drilling platforms, and brackish water areas benefit from this process.

Large-Scale Use of Purified Water

Purified water is also essential in various enterprises and institutions with a large number of people. These include communities, real estate properties, schools, factories, hospitals, tea houses, hotels, beauty salons, canteens, and others. Purified water is also used in the production of bottled water, mineral water, and other packaged water.

Other Process Uses

Ultrapure water is also used for other process uses in industries such as automotive, household appliance painting, coated glass, cosmetics, fine chemicals, and others.
