Product Description:

Reverse osmosis (RO) systems typically consist of pre-treatment and main units that use specialized RO membrane technology. Depending on a user's specific needs in terms of material and water quality requirements, the selection of RO membrane types can be customized accordingly.

RO membranes are high molecular materials that are processed in a specific way to create a semi-permeable membrane. This membrane allows only pure water molecules to pass through, rejecting any solutes. Using a pump to apply high pressure, feedwater on one side of the semi-permeable membrane that exceeds osmotic pressure will cause water molecules to permeate through the membrane to the other side, resulting in purified water.

The semi-permeable membrane is highly effective at blocking various unwanted substances; dissolved and undissolved inorganic salts, heavy metal ions, organic substances, bacteria, colloids, and other substances present in the feedwater cannot pass through and are discharged with the concentrate.

Filtration Precision: Reverse osmosis membrane has a pore size of 0.0001 micrometers, which is much smaller than a typical PP cotton filter cartridge (5 micrometers) and ultrafiltration membrane (0.01 micrometers). The pore size for bacteria and heavy metal ions is 0.001 micrometers. Thus, reverse osmosis equipment can effectively remove impurities, bacteria, and other harmful substances from water.
