Reverse osmosis systems are generally composed of pre-treatment and RO main units. The selection of RO membrane types can be customized according to the user's material and water quality requirements. The RO membrane is a process membrane made of high molecular materials through special processes. It allows only water molecules to pass through while rejecting solutes. By applying high pressure with a pump, when the pressure of the feedwater on one side of the semi-permeable membrane exceeds the osmotic pressure, water molecules from the feedwater can permeate through the membrane to the other side, resulting in purified water. Dissolved and undissolved inorganic salts, heavy metal ions, organic substances, bacteria, colloids, and other substances in the feedwater cannot pass through the semi-permeable membrane and are discharged with the concentrate.
